Welcome to CSSA!

The Curtin Surgical Students’ Association (CSSA) is a student-run, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to immersing medical students in the field of surgery.

We aim to provide various opportunities in surgical education, networking and exposure, allowing students to understand what comes next in navigating this highly competitive field.

This year, the committee is looking forward to bringing in high-calibre surgeons for informative talks and surgical skills workshops. CSSA’s ultimate goal is to act as a prospective medical student’s gateway to the world of surgery by empowering them with the necessary knowledge and skillsets. This will be achieved by working as a focal point where like-minded students can unite and move towards their desired pathway in surgery.
